Instructional flashcards, 18 gestures, 148 x 210 mm
Created by analysing political manifestos and a deliberate play on the word 'mani' meaning hands in Italian. The performance translates the gestural research into a universal, reproducible hand choreography - each gesture with its own title - read, and then demonstrated. The result is the artist's personal 18 part manifesto for success, thereafter transcribed and documented in a green screen film and re-usable flashcards to be repurposed and disseminated.
